The latest product to make the change over to 100% 304 stainless steel is our Linear Cluster table to match the Linear bench. Three cluster tables and one 60" bench shown.

Sarabi Studio recently completed the design, fabrication and installation of these two signs to compliment the planters installed earlier in the month.

Sarabi Studio recently completed these 5 planters in collaboration with the wonderful team at Big Red Sun design center and nursery. Comming soon are two new signs to replace the plastic signs flanking the doorway to complete the update.

In the spirit of encouraging other artists and creative types to explore metal work and enjoy it as i have i am hosting an introduction to welding class. The class is being organized through the community learning site www.Unclasses.com and will be offered free to the first 10 people who sign up. We will cover basic welding safety, cutting and preparing your weld and the basics of MIG wire feed welding. The date is subject to change as i will push the class out until at least 8 people are signed up.

The latest in a long line of design refinements to the Linear line is the new 100% stainless steel versions slated to begin shipping to retailers and customer later this month. Constructed from 304 stainless steel with a hand brushed finish the look is truly spectacular. Here are some pictures of the first production pieces on the shop floor:

This custom designed and fabricated above ground garden was completed this week for a client in Beaverton, Oregon a suburb of Portland. The large container garden and coordinating flower beds and planters helped to provide the owner additional planting areas and some contemporary flair. Although the fabrication is complete i will follow up in a few month once the planting has been done to show the finished product. leveling these large containers was quite a task however the slope allowed for a very visually
appealing 6” step down.

6” steel edging replaced large rotting 6”X6” timbers to update these decade old flower beds.

This large above ground custom garden design and installation is under way in a suburb of Portland, OR. More images to come of the finished product as it is planted in the coming weeks.

These unique vibrant red benches (Bengal Red) were part of a 4 piece set scheduled to be delivered later this week to a customer that has paired them to a custom SIMPL table frame. The color was so unique i had to share it with everyone. The industrial powder coating process allows Sarabi Studio to offer its custom metal works in hundreds of unique colors and textures that are suitable for use indoors and out and highly durable. Each of our unique designs, from planters to dining sets, is fabricated from raw steel materials in our Austin workshop. Situated on 1.2 Acres of land just east of downtown on 5th street our workshop has easy access to several area providers of materials and value add services such as powder coating and polishing. The pictures below show a typical production day in the shop with many orders moving through the many hours of cutting, polishing and welding necessary to deliver our unique products.

A Dewalt Dry Cut metal saw. This saw allows quick cold cuts through steel using a titanium carbide tipped metal cutting saw blade. Near the saw are several frames that will soon form a LINEAR bench ready to head to the powder coating shop for its final sandblast and finish.

This new finish is achieved by allowing the plate steel to rust briefly but not fully then coating the steel in lacquer.
