Custom Planters for stunning austin home
June/21/2010
We recently delivered these two custom planters to flank a newly completed fireplace as part of this outdoor living space. The client needed a custom sized steel planter to compliment the metallic sheen of the tile and light fixtures while fitting the space.
We worked with the client to both design the ideal size vessel and to design in a false bottom into the planter that would serve to hold container plants at the ideal level. Due to the lack of sunlight the owner intends to rotate the plants out to the large back yard to sun every so often so a design that accommodated this feature was needed.

The planters shown on either side of the custom fireplace and mantle done by other skilled craftsman.

Close up of one of the containers, 1" trim and custom pedestal base with custom false bottom.
